Communities

Communities allow you to organise your posts, projects, and meetups under a shared umbrella. This feature enables a more focused environment for different groups within the platform, ensuring that relevant content is easily accessible to the right people.

Every post, project, and meetup is now associated with a specific community. When you create new content, it will be linked to the community you are currently viewing. This helps in categorising information and fostering engagement among community members who share similar interests or goals.

Permissions have also been updated to support communities. This means that access can be managed independently for each community, allowing for more granular control over who can view or manage content. Whether you are an administrator or a regular member, your roles are now clearly defined within the context of each community.

For programmes, the permission system remains robust but with a new internal structure that reserves space for future system roles. This ensures that as the platform grows, we can add more functionality without disrupting your existing category-based permissions. All your current categories have been preserved and continue to work exactly as they did before.
